En quête d’un futur plus vertueux, Maxence Grangeot développe des alternatives constructives à partir de matériaux indésirables. Architecte EPFL titulaire d’une thèse de doctorat sur le réemploi porteur de béton de démolition, ses recherches incluent l’élaboration de nouveaux processus de construction, via des démonstrateurs à l’échelle 1:1, et le développement de leur tectonique. Il collabore fréquemment avec l’industrie pour appliquer ces recherches dans la réalisation de projets en Europe, notamment mis en avant par une installation au dernier congrès mondial des architectes de la UIA en 2026. Il a également coordonné le projet rebuiLT et travaillé dans plusieurs agences internationales et dans les laboratoires de recherche SXL, CRCL et IBOIS à l’EPFL.
