Scotto

Giulia Scotto is an architect, researcher, and historian. She graduated in architecture from Università Iuav di Venezia and obtained her PhD in Urban Studies from the University of Basel. She has held research and teaching positions at the Institute of Urban and Landscape Studies (ISUP) at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Università della Svizzera italiana, and at the Chair of the History and Theory of Urban Design at ETH Zurich.
Her publications include Siedlung Rietholz: H + A Hubacher (with Miriam Stierle, 2024), Zurich Atlas: An Archaeology of Urban Codes and Forms (co-edited with Tom Avermaete, 2026), and Zurich Primer: A Propositional Planning Vision for the City (co-edited with Jonathan Sergison, 2026).
